I am an award winning writer, activist. I author a blog on EducationWeek.com entitled "Education Futures: Emerging Trends and Technologies in K-12," which be accessed via the following link: www.blogs.edweek.org/edweek/education_futures/. The blog chronicles and reports on educational innovations, technologies, and reforms. I also write an interview series for Diverse Issues in Higher Education entitled "Diverse Conversations." It serves as a mechanism for discussing pressing issues in higher education with scholars, professors and administrators who are considered to be at the cutting edge of their fields. My "Diverse Conversations" interview series can be viewed by following this link: http://diverseeducation.com/article/author/mlynch/. I can also be found on the Huffington Post and quoted in several other publications, both related to higher education and beyond.
I also maintain my own website. The Edvocate is intended to be a conversation between educators about the best ways to give all P-20 students equal access to education. The majority of the posts are written by me, but I also encourage guest writers to add other voices to this dynamic. The topics most often discussed include technology in classrooms, closing the achievement gap and emerging laws that will impact education at all levels. The Edvocate can be accessed here: http://www.theedadvocate.org/.
In July 2016, I launched The Tech Edvocate to cover the P-20 EdTech sector and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, we invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally. The Tech Edvocate can be accessed here: http://www.thetechedvocate.org.
